Rebrand from Getmybiz to Seekbiz

Since inception in 2014, Getmybiz has always been the brand name of this website, reflecting the purpose it serves: a local Australian business directory.

For the past 6 years the website has surpassed all initial expectations in terms of site traffic and inventory size with momentum for further growth.

Moving Forward

As the business continues to deliver features that makes it easier for customers to find and review businesses, we asked ourselves if the current brand still works as before.

We believe Seekbiz can resonate with our customer more on the experience provided by our service, and decided to adopt this as the brand going forward.

Transition Details

The brand name change from Getmybiz to Seekbiz occured on the 1st March 2020.

All business details published under Getmybiz have been automatically moved across to Seekbiz with page redirection running from Day 1. This ensures that bookmarks and links will continue to work without interruptions.

Google has also been notified of the site migration to ensure a smooth transition of valuable search rankings to the new site.
